06 DF 70 "cuts out"

I have a 2006 Suzuki DF 70 that stalls at random times. When it quits, i don's have any instrument function and there is no buzzer sounding in the helm. However, if I just barely bump the trim switch on the binnacle, everything comes back on and the engine will then start. I am at a loss as to where to proceed. Thanks

this has the earmarks of a loose white wire
check the wiring connections and if there are any wire connections to the key switch that are put on with screws or a nut on a post that may have come loose
