2014 DF150 4-Stroke Prop feedback needed

I have a 2014 Pure Bay BW 2000 w/ DF150 Hp Suzuki. I can get to around 5700RPM’s and 46MPH WOT all the way trimmed up and Jack plate up 2” manual. I feel my prop is too big? 3x16x23R. The motor is so quiet and smooth. Any feedback would be appreciated.

The diameter is fine. Try 3x16x21. That should bring the WOT to about 5900. My '07 DF150 has a 3x16x18½ prop on a 3000 lb boat with a 16° deadrise.
