  • Replacing ECU on df140 procedure

I couldn’t find any procedure for this. Do I just swap it out. Is there a reset or something?

Let me say, when I did swap it out it does not work. The control Las make a different pitched beep and nothing else happens. It will not turn over.

edit - forget my earlier reply.

It would make things much easier if you could keep all your questions re this motor in one thread rather than starting a separate thread for each issue.

No resetting is required for a replacement ecu. If the replacement doesnt work then the ecu is not the problem.

Will do. I just had so many issues it was getting confusing. I am bringing the boat next week to a dealer but they said it will be about 3 weeks from then so I thought I would try one last thing.

          I agree with Moonlighter
summarize what your experience is in one thread
But if the engine is running it probably not the ECM that is the problem. besides being a very expensive part to replace

You have got your self into more trouble than the early settlers.
