engine won't turn over, just clicking noises

When I turn the key on my Suzuki 50 HP outboard, the engine does not turn over. There is only clicking noises and an error message of one long beep and two short beeps. The battery seems to have power. I can tilt the engine and run accessories. The volt meter shows voltage from the battery.

What's the battery voltage reading from a digital voltage meter?

Have the battery load tested. And undo, clean, reattach and tighten battery cables while you are at it.

“Battery seems to have power” is not near a sufficient test.

These efi engines require a good battery that meets Suzuki specs and is properly charged. Or they simply wont go.
