I'm repowering with a twin set of 2012 DF300s which came off a triple setup.
I was told this was possible but were having problems with the BCM recognizing both motors at the same time. In single engine mode I can initiate either motor and it will recognize either motor, good to go.
But, in dual or trip mode I can only recognize one motor at a time.
I talked to a guy that said we need to use the trip mode and connect one of the motors to the center connection of the harness.
We tried every possible combination; port in center, starboard in center, port in starboard, starboard in port along with the resistor moved between the port and starboard location. In trip mode the port will initiate if connected to the starboard of the harness and vise versus for the port but we can not get both motors to initiate together.
Any ideas?
Can someone confirm that the trip harness will work with dual setup?
Also, is there any need to "flash" the BCM?
Thanks in advance for the tips/trick/suggestions.
