After 10-15 minutes on slow idle, the red light comes on and the throttle is limited to idle. The water coming out is full and cool. If I shut it down and restart, it runs fine, but repeats the behavior after slow trolling for a time again. This also happens when I come off full throttle down to idle quickly. If I come off full throttle slowly, it usually will not happen.
Run fine otherwise and starts easily.
Sometimes it will re-set without shutting down if I throttle back up a little: just sometimes.
Any ideas what might be going on? Is there possibly some sensor failure I can fix or bypass?
