I'm new to the forum and like a lot of people I've joined to get some answers and once I do you probably won't hear from me until I have another question. I hope that's okay.
First of all I need to find out what year my 8HP Suzuki DT8C is. The serial # is 00802-801957. From what I've found out so far the letter at the end of the model number stands for a year but I'm not sure about that since the list I was looking at started out with the letter D and didn't show the letters A,B,or C. Anyway I need help.
Once I find the correct year I will probably need to order a service manual to see how to get the carb back on. I watched a uTube video that was very good on showing how to take it off and clean it but never showed how to get it back on and there has to be something more than just reversing the order of how it came off because i just can seem to make room for the carb and air box to fit back in so I think he must have removed something else to get it back on. Hope you can help. If I've left anything out that will help you help me let me know.
