Good morning! I am glad I found this forum as this is my first Suzuki. It's a 2015 with approximately 60 hours on it. The other day running it, I noticed the red indicator light flashing on it after about a 20 minute run, however no alarm went off. After pulling the skiff out of the water, getting it on the hose, and while flushing it, I noticed no indicator light. I did notice that I did not vent the tank while running. An oversight on my part. Could that cause the red indicator light to go off? I do have the 100 hour service pack from the previous owner so if that should be done early, I have that covered. I will just have a mound of questions on how to do that myself. Thanks!

First comment - buy the Suzuki service manual
It will answer a whole bunch of questions
The alarm and flashing button
the button will flash a particular sequence of flashes when it senses a problem
the 100 hour oil change reminder is from the last time it was last reset- not necessarily at say the 100 hour mark of running the engine
running the engine with the tank vent closed, by itself, should not cause any alarms. eventually the engine would starve itself of fuel and probably quit on you,
one other thing -- water pump -- should be replaced at a minimum of every 2 years regardless of amount of time used. The impeller will deform because a side of it is compressed and will no longer be efficient and provide enough fresh water to keep the head from ovrrheating
