Control Shifter Question

Does anyone know if you can use a DT Shifter for a 2004 DF140? Looking at the wiring it all matches up, just wasn't sure if the internals will connect to the same cables?

Throttle and shift cables should be same, if wiring colors are same, it should work fine.
