Have a new 9.9 Suzuki outboard that from the factory has stalled when going from idle to increase RPM if you go very very slow it will pick up speed and run great. If you are running along and want to increase speed it does the same thing. Does not matter if it is cold or has been running for a while.
Service tech said to run it for a while and this will disappear, it now has about 40 hrs on it and still doing the same thing, and my service rep says I have not run it enough which I think is BS.
I am told this engine is designed to run very lean, is there a different jet available to richen it up a little to make this problem go away?
Or can i increase the orifice size on existing jet to accomplish the same thing?
If so how much larger should i go on the jet/jets? Have any size reamer available at my disposal.
I do not see any adjustment capability on this Carb, old 7.5 Johnson I could adjust this out.
