DT75, 1995, crankshaft lower oil seal, how to remove and replace?

IMG_0652.JPG Item 26 was damaged when drive shaft was removed. Can item 26 be removed/replaced from outside the crankcase by simply hooking it out from item 27, like a drive shaft seal on a car, or does item 27 have to be removed, which might mean splitting the crankcase. Also, I'm puzzled as to why there are 2 of item 26.

Without looking at the manual for your motor i don't know. They used 2 seals as a backup to prevent leakage. That's the best I can offer you, the manual might explain it for you.
I couldn't tell from your pic, but looking at the parts page, it looks like that bottom seal cover must be removed to replace the seals? But I can't tell if the case has to be opened to remove it?
