remote control wiring harness connectors

I have a 2006 DF175. I had a no start situation.
Nothing happens when turning the ignition switch to on or start.
Tilt trim does not operate at helm either.
Tilt trim operates at engine.
Found a broken pin on one of the 16 pin connectors on the wire between engine and remote. Are the pins and female sockets available to service the harness connector?

However you are describing the "white wire" problem
Are you having any other electronics not powering up?
Sometimes this white wire terminates at the dash before powering the remote
Since you are not getting power to the remote I would suggest testing this power source
From the battery switch, I assume you may have, there should be a white wire spliced in. I would start here by checking this connection - my connection looked ok but the wire ends inside were totally corroded out
Next would be the inline fuse on this wire

Yes its the pin that connects the white wire. It got corroded and broke off. I am hoping someone knows where to get these pins. I do not want to replace all wiring harnesses.

No need,sounds like all you require is to cut only white wire either side of 16 pin connector make repair with heat shrink bullet connector obtained from auto parts store.:

I found the connector pins and seals and crimp tool at Eastern Beaver.
I want to put it back together with the plugs so it makes it a little easier to troubleshoot.
I will do the plug bypass until the parts arrive. Gag grouper season opened today on Florida gulf.
I think the brand of connector is Sumitomo.

Yes, Eastern Beaver are a very useful source of the plugs. Make sure you get extra pins and also the blanking seals for any unused holes in the plug.

Good luck, sounds like you have got a sensible plan to solve the issues.

Once its all back together and tested and running fine, a spray of the engine with lanoline or boeshield or similar will help protect from corrosion in future.
