Hey guys,
I have a couple of questions about the df140 cooling in and out system. I have replaced the lower unit impeller and changed the thermostat because I heard build up can occur around it. For some time now, the outside "pee" outlet has been closed off presumably by corrosion. I know it is cooling because of feeling the water temperature coming out the prop compared to the temperature going in and of course it shows no sign of running hot. I have removed the plastic insert of the "pee" outlet to try to clean it out. It goes back for about 2" and then it's like hitting a brick wall. Can someone describe the route that outlet takes such as does it go straight back, 90 degree turn, etc and provide advice and how to blow it open again? Also since it's a 2003 and has build up there, is there anywhere else I should inspect to see if corrosion or build up has accumulated hindering normal function? Thanks.
