Df115 speedometer tube cracked

Speedo tubed cracked. Dont have a speedometer but do I need to worry about water getting into lower unit?

No, If you look at the leading edge of your gear case you will see a small hole. Water is forced in and up the tube to the Tach

I think he meant, up the tube to the speedo, not tach.

Thanks. Gonna just cut it and leave it be.

As long as it isn't shooting water into the motor it's fine, I just kinked my tube over and put a cable tie on it, after the plug came off.
