Broke off about 1 inch of skeg on my 2015 30hp 4 stroke, does any one know who sells a skeg guard for the 30hp, can only find for the 40hp and up.

Anyone bought a skeg guard for the new 30hp yet, I cant seem to locate one on the internet. -
I don't see one either...anywhere. The DF30A is fairly new, and seems to share the lower unit with the DF25A but not the 40 HP, so that doesn't help any. You might have to live with it for awhile, until one of the skeg guard manufacturers come up with the product, or go to a shop that specializes in skeg repair (aluminum welding). Alternatively, you can write an email to a manufacturer's customer service or sales department and ask if they have what you need. Sometimes the product listings sent to retailers are slow to catch up.Mike

I just dropped a email to Skegguard.com, to see if they have one in stock or need to custom build me one, maybe they can start adding this to their many other models, will let you know what the say.Comment

Well I just got a email back from Skegguard.com out of Colorado and he said since he is a one man machine shop he will not have time to make one for the 30hp Suzuki this year and he is planning on adding new Suzuki models after the 1st of the year and to contact him than.
