2015 DF140 wont turn over

New DF140 replacing a 2002 version wont turn over.
Batteries, neutral switch and ignition switch checked out. had ECU recall installed earlier, assuming engine was started after ECU update at the dealer. but has not started since..

When you tuen the key to on, can you hear the fuel pump priming up?

If its been dead since the ecu replacement was done, have you spoken to the dealer? What did they say?

2015 DF140 wont turn over

The engine had been run by the dealer after the ECU replacement. There is power at the engine with key in on position. I will listen for the pump.

2015 DF 140 wont turn over

Long story short,problem was with the neutral switch on the engine.With
clutch lever in the neutral range it was putting switch in circuit open. Had to re position lever within the neutral range. Apparently there is a operating range within the neutral range.

Hi everyone iv just joined the forum to find information on this same problem had the same thing fixes on a 140 2014 motor 2 weeks ago after it wouldn't start while fishing now after 1 hrs use its happened again words can't explain how cranky i am after getting towed back to shore again by the way the motor only has 180hrs on it
