Can you give some more information please about what is actually happening? We cant be there to see or hear it so you need to fully desctribe what is happening so people can offer meaningful suggestions.
Will the motor crank over and fire, but then stall immediately? (If so the IAC is a likely culprit)
Or does it not start at all?
Is it cranking strongly?
When you lift the neutral throttle lever, you say it starts and runs, but stalls as soon as the throttle is eased back? (Again, this points to the IAC valve being faulty/dirty - if you do a search on this forum there is wuite a bit of info about that issue and how to clean/replace the IAC).

maybe
I got a message from my dealer and he thinks it's the (IAC) valve Idle Air Control Valve. He thinks it's built up with carbon from Idling a long time on the Mexican gas. I think he right cause I never shut my motor off when I'm out! I'm going to replace it and find out. You can also try and decarbonize and that works sometimes also. I'll let you know if it works, these new motors are so sensitive compared to the old 2 strokes!
Thaks, John

I have the same problem on DF 90A . What was involved in replacing? My engin is 2010 with less than 200 hrs. Got back to the dock by unhooking shifter, start the engin at 900 rpm and shifted in gear by hand. Not a great start to the season. Thanks
