1988 DT40 Oil Injection

Hi,

My motor was leaking oil out the exhaust onto the floor, so I removed the pump from the motor and measured the old oil seals (no longer available from Suzuki) and found comparable ones on fleabay. So now the leaking has stopped and the motor runs good. But since I had to pull the pump apart how do I adjust the pump to pump the correct amount of oil? I'm the original owner 31 years.

The suzuki service manual gives step by step instructions on adjusting the flow rate. You can go to boats.net above, or browns point Marine to get one for your motor. There are a number of online manuals, but i don't believe they have (if they mention/have it at all?) proper procedures for your motor.
