This problem started after 2 months of perfect operation during a cruise in the PNW. The motor runs absolutely fine all day but every time I shift to neutral it will die. If I shift fast I can keep it running sometimes but not always. All the usual maintenance items have been done. Oil, filters, plugs, etc. I have a low pressure fuel pump kit to install but not sure about my skill level for that job. Finding TDC to remove the pump sounds difficult in the repair manual. The motor has 1140 hours on it and is 2000 model year. Could the low pressure pump be the issue? Any other suggestions?
