I took out a 31 contender offshore in 2-3 foot seas and noticed that the boat would incrementally speed up when we hit a good bump. It has twin 2016 DF250APs.
From what I have read this is an electronic "fly-by-wire" throttle system, but I would hope that there is a mechanical adjustment to prevent the throttle from physically moving forward on its own, regardless.
Let me know if you have ran into this issue? Is there an adjustment screw?
