Dt85 1982

Hi guys have a dt85 1982 having a problem with the tilt trim , it will lower but will not raise , it will just click in the relay when tried to raise , is there a way of manually lifting the motor until we get the electrics sorted? Thanks

Well, the same tilt motor works for up, and down tilt, so you must have a bad connection to ground, or a bad connection where a connector plugs together.

There is a "release" screw to manually operate tilt on the right side of the clamp/tilt assy, but I've only used it to lower my motors, not sure how easy it would be to raise your motor? Loosen screw just enough to lower/raise motor, then snug screw back in place.
