I was wondering if there is a kit available to make my short shaft a long shaft

that maybe a tough question to answer when it comes to an engine that is over 20 years old..
I might suggest clicking on the "contact us" link at the top of the page and talk to the parts people

if you can find a Suzuki dealer that has been in business for the last 20 plus years they might have an old engine sitting around in a back lot that you could scrap some parts from

in researching the part.. if you go to the parts page at the top of the screen, find the part number and then pull up the part.. scroll down and what you will find is every year and engine the part is interchangeable with..

I had convert a 40 from short to long. Get a list of part numbers and put google to work. Unfortunately all the best Zuki bone yards are in Florida so most donors are salties. You'd be surprised what comes up on ebay, got most of my inards there (shift rod, coolant pipe, ect). Good luck with your hunt.
