1993 Suzuki Dt140 engine check light

Have a problem on how to check if engine check light on the monitor gauge is burnt out or just not working, no temp light, no rev limit light, no oil lamp only the oil level lights work on gauge? new battery no flashing lights when key is turned on. Thank you for any help. Fishman
