2013 df90a. Can I remove the vst without removing the intake manifold?

The manual says to remove the manifold to remove the vst but it looks like it could be done without doing that. I think I've seen a post or 2 were people have actually done it this way. Just looking for someone who may have done it this way. Thanks in advance for any help.

I read the same thing on here, but never done it. Go for it ,nothing to lose..

I know on my 2007 df115 it can be done. Had to get a 10mm box end wrench and some patience. Even cut down a 10mm wrench to get into the tight spaces. Pull the high pressure pump and then pull the vst out the top. Two bolts are easy the other two are tough on the vst. I’ve done it both ways and I wouldn’t pull the manifold ever again.
