In the NMEA data stream, where does the engine temperature data come from...the exhaust temperature, the block temperature, etc.? The starboard engine (1 out of 3) recently began to report temperatures that were a good 20 degrees F hotter than the other two...even when the engines hadn't been run for 2 days and hadn't been turned on yet! I replaced the thermostats...no change. I highly suspect the sensor responsible for reporting the engine temperature information...but want to make sure I replace the right one.
