Hello all new to the forum, but been reading a lot on here and there is some great advice. I'm hoping I can get a little my self on an issue I've been having.
I have a 2006 Suzuki DF225 and just did the 200 hour service on it, yes that's right only 200 hours on it, the person I bought the boat from did not use it that much. Well I took it out and was in reverse and it started sputtering and then shut off, I looked at my gauge and it displayed overheat/oil pressure. It did this to me 3 times in a day. I felt the water coming out of the motor and it felt normal, the motor operates flawlessly while going forward. Any suggestions as what causes this? Could it be sucking up to many bubbles and not water while backing up? Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks in advance.
