Hi All,
I run a fleet of water taxis to a small island in Phuket. I have 3 boats, all with twin Suzuki DF 225 HP engines. The engines work hard (maybe 200-250 hours a month) under reasonably heavy loads. For the second time in a month, I have a cracked Exhaust Housing. I think that is what it is called. The local dealers are unable to explain why it is happening. It must be a temperature issue of some kind, but I don't know.
I am trying to understand why it is happening so it doesn't happen a third.. fourth time.
Any ideas?
