Its a 2015 115atlss 50hr. When I bought it the dealer said to put in a hotter thermostat for trolling and no wake lakes, I put in the 71c thermostat. This past weekend we took a 20 mile ride and the temp was 174degrees. This is from the sds to my Lowrance. I think its ok cause most older cars run at 180 the newer ones about 200. Am I good at 174.? just want to make sure. Thanks.

I don't think it will hurt anything. Mine runs more like the low 150s, but 170s should be just fine.

Mine 200 runs like 145 when trolling. When I'm cruising it's somewhere around the 165-170. No problems to be expected from that.

Yep just got back from a fishing trip in the Bay today. Magic day with virtually no wind.

So came back to the ramp with my DF115 sitting on 5000rpm and it sat on 74C all the way. Water temp about 19C.

Your temp, given the hotter thermo, is fine.
