oldish topic but couldn't find in search
we have 2010 DF150, ALWAYS SERVICED ETC
out recently offshore, cut out 5-6 times so came in, running normally in between, no alarms buzzers nor did it go into limp mode
mechanic tears it down, (their diagnostic showed no issue??) 2litres of oil only ( 6 lost)
bent Conrod and engine needs rebuild :-(
I see some susie 4 strokes had corrosion issue and led to similar issues
but we got no warning buzzers etc, the manual said would alert low oil pressure, even the dealer found no issue on their computer analysis, the log unhelpful
seems a electronic fu too
any comments?
