The C-10 requires an engine interface cable that needs to be configured using a Navico headset. It also provides fuel remaining and seasonal fuel data to the network. It also can show dual engine data.
The Suzuki OEM gauge doesnt use the interface cable and connects directly to the engine harness. It requires less setting up and is simpler to use. I know you are having issues with your fuel use accuracy, but I am told that fuel data accuracy is generally far better than data coming from an interface. It is also more reliable with no reports that I am aware of of failures, fogging up or losing data, which seem quite common with the C-10.
I will talk to my Suzuki contacts sometime this week and see if there is any knowlede of fuel inaccuracy issues and if so, what the cause.might be and whether they can be addressed.
