Please Help with White Sub Wire Connection

I have twin 2015 Suzuki 175 DF outboards. Also have 2 batteries installed and 2 battery switches. Each battery switch provides switching for 1 of the 2 outboards. So, in essence, there is a starboard outboard battery switch and a port outboard battery switch.

I have read many posts about where to connect the Suzuki white sub wire but haven't found a situation that matches mine. With the configuration described above, where should the white wires from each outboard be connected?

Sounds like you have two completely separate independent systems
That being the case I would suspect you need to run two white wires
One off the battery switch through ignition switch and back to respective engine
And 2nd white wire from battery #2 to second ignition switch and back to #2 engine
Remember the white wire powers through ignition switch to power up the respective ECM
It sounds as though you did away with a backup battery

Thanks for your reply Art. After reading more posts on the subject of the"white wire", I think I may have it figured out. Just looking for agreement from you experts out there.

I believe it would be best to connect the white wire from the port engine to the common post of the battery switch for the port engine. And connect the white wire from the starboard engine to the common post of the battery switch for the starboard engine. That way the the engine ECMs would read the appropriate battery voltage regardless if a switch were in the batt 1 position, batt 2 position or (for emergency starting) the all position.

now you are over my head
maybe someone with a two engine set up will be better versed on the proper battery setup
I am not sure the reason for the two separate battery switches if they are tied together, so to speak, with your batt 1 batt 2 and 'both' positions.
this indicates to me that batteries are both interconnected to start with.

what you first were trying to explain sounded like have two isolated electrical systems, which you don't have if the batteries are connected through a common battery switch
