  • DF115 no ground on terminal 13 on ecu

There is no ground on terminal 13 on ecu when switch is turned on. If I ground it with jumper the engine will start but runs rough. Found ground wire on tach had been burnt, repaired but still no fire. Could the ecu be bad?

How did you check it, and what made you check pin thirteen.

      No ground on terminal 13

Have a wiring diagram and traced it down from there. I can put a jumper from main relay pink w/black to engine groun and engine will start .

Check your ecm grounds pins 10 20 32 42 and sensor grounds pin 11 and check to see if you have your five volt reference voltage for map sensor pin 35.If you have lost the ecm grounds as well you may have fried it. Have you done any work on the motor before this happened.

I hate to get into the middle of this because you guys are doing so well
          however
there Were some conversations about the ground on the starter
there have been some corrosion type issues and taking that connection apart cleaning it up has solved a couple of problems

and make sure you check your battery ground .. another trouble spot
          Art..

Thank you redlowrey, I have been away from my iPad so I just saw your last post. I have not had a chance to check the terminals you suggested but will do tomorrow . Will let you know the results.

Did this ever get a resolution? I am having the same problems and wondering if it is my ECU.
