Can anyone tell me where or show me diagram or pic of where the ecm plug in is on a DF140 4 stroke suzuki, thanks for any help. Do I have to remove any covers?

If the plug you are referring to is the plug where the technician connects their laptop to for servicing, then if you go to the sticky thread on NMEA2000 networks and open the attachment, there are photos there.
Basically the plug is on the port side of the engine just above the fuse box area. It will be sitting in a small black rubber holder. Depending on your engine year, ot is a round plug about 3/4" diameter (up to 2008 MY) or a small square plug about 1/2" across (2009 and later).
