I own a 2015 140 and yesterday I started it up and noticed water coming from the gap between the foot and upper. Is this normal or do I need to take to the dealer for repairs. I had water running in the flush connector.

Two points.... It doesn't sound normal, so have that checked out.
Second....do NOT run the engine using the flush ports. Your motor is not designed to be flushed in that manner. If by "flush connector" you mean one of the upper flush ports on the engine, then do not flush using those except with the engine shut off. The preferred method for flushing does involve running the motor, but you must do so using muffs on the water intakes at in the lower unit. I realize that this is different than some other brands, but your Suzuki will not be adequately cooled using flush ports while running.Last edited by Harper; 02-29-2016, 09:54 AM.Mike

my 175 has two flush ports.. one on the port side and one on the front
I am trying to remember but think the one on the front is connected with
a piece of rubber hose
if that is the same on the 140.. would check the fittings
take the cover of .. hook up the hose and turn it on.. if it is in this location
you should be able to see where the water is coming from
