So I need to remove, clean (or replace) my steering bracket on my pair of 2001 DF70's. The engines are extremely difficult to turn and i have tried injecting grease, heating, lubricating, etc., and no dice. hydraulic system struggles to turn engines. So I have read a few posts on lifting the engine by disconnecting the shift rod and removing the 4 steering bracket mounting nuts (if the come loose) so I can access the steering bracket, WITHOUT having to remove the powerhead. Is this possible?
