Currently own a 2001 90hp fourstroke. Had an issue with a single beep alarm every 5 seconds. Book says code is rectifier/regulator. Voltage meter readst 14.9 volts. Changed rectifier, still getting 14.9 volts, single beep alarm again. Changed battery, still 14.9 volts but No alarm.
Voltage sounds high to me, could it have been the battery all along?
