2018 DF 70 NMEA network

Hi everyone !
this is for one of my friend
He's got a 2018 DF70 , with an anagogic gauge .
He wants to get an NMEA network , with the engine, the GPS...etc

Do you know if the interface cable is already installed or not ?
How can we know that ?

If he has analogue gauges now, there will not be an interface cable currently installed. Why would there be, its not needed for analogue gauges?

If he wants to create a NMEA2000 network AND ALSO keep the analogue gauges working, he will need:

1. To create a simple NMEA 2000 network - buy a NMEA2000 starter kit
2. A Suzuki engine interface cable, version 3.5.0
3. A SDS adapter cable - he will need to connect this cable to the SDS plug on the engine and then connect the interface cable to the other end.

The confusion may be due to the fact that the Suzuki colour digital gauge used in Europe does not require the interface cable. That gauge itself performs the functions of the interface cable.

So, it may be easier and less expensive to remove the current analogue gauges and replace them with the Eu model Suzuki digital gauge. If he then wants to get engine data also onto his GPS screen, all that is required is the NMEA2000 network, with a connection to the Suzuki digital gauge.
