With the new electronics and all being put on new boats, does anybody know if there is an upgrade to the alternator or is Suzuki planning on doing something to get more than 54 amps out of the alternator? Between power steering, vhf, and running 3 Evos I pulled my house battery down to low voltage even running at 4K rpm for 45 mins or so.
I can't trickle between uses without pulling the batteries because it's in a boatel and not at the house. Any ideas? Solar panel on t-top when trolling to assist?
