Df300 2008 Tilt & Trim

While running @ 25knts my stbd engine started trimming up on its own without me hitting the trim. It wouldn’t go down until I turned power off. Now it does nothing in either direction except a clicking noise from relay.
I was getting all new batteries anyway so I have changed those out. At the PTT relay I am only getting 11.1 volts, the relay clicks when I engage the the switch at either location . Should this relay be reading over 12 volts? do I have a trim motor problem, limit switch or bad relay ?

start with the limit adjustment but...
I had similar situation a couple of years ago and the problem was the trim switch on the side of the engine
water had worked it’s way into the switch and was doing exactly what you describe
I was able to disassemble it. cleaned it up and used it until a new switch arrived

I had the same problem on DF 140 and it was also the trim switch on the engine and it was contaminated with water.
