Oiling question

My engine has been sitting since Nov. so im sure all internals are pretty dry. Is there a way to turn the oil pump to prime the engine with oil. 2015 115 Thanks
Or maybe just disconnect pull the plugs and crank a few seconds at a time.

All I would do is pull the dead man switch so that the motor can be turned over without starting, and crank it for a few seconds a couple of times to move some oil around.

But, you should still put water on the pump before turning it over, even for a few seconds. Dry impellers fragment quickly.

Thanks guys for the response. I could do that at the lake the 1st time. I wasn't sure if the engine would turn over with the kill pulled/ Thanks again.
