flush out of 03 dt225

I just purchased an 03 dt225 for my boat after the df140 took a dump. there is no hose connection for flush out. I see there is a threaded plug on the left side of the motor, is that the flush out?

Yes, it is back past the tilt switch. There is probably a cap on it otherwise water flows out of it when the motor is running. I installed a female quick disconnect on it from Home depot-hose section. It has a built in check valve . My hose side has the male push in . No issues with it. It makes flushing easier.
