Hello all. New here,I need some help.
I have been out testing my suzuki df25 2010 today for the first time, it all went well, started fine and ticked over great, 1/4 throttle for 5 mins to warm it up,then proceed to WOT to receive the red light and engine cut out too tick over.. I know this is a common fault after browsing many Web pages, first impression was over heating,it was service before I bought it,so unsure whether to get a professional engineer in to service or do I just upgrade my prop as I have read this is the fix used by many?
My understanding is every 1 inch of pitch results in 200rpm less. I believe my prop is 10 1/4 x 10..so upgrading to 10 1/4 x 13 would result in 600rpm less reducing the temperature, but also reducing the acceleration but increasing top speed.
Anyone have any experience of this fault and how did you fix it?
