New Suzuki DF90ATL year

I am purchasing a "new" Suzuki DF90 and would like to verify the year
the engine # is 09003F-511965

Is this a 2015?

Open the cover and look for an aluminum plug on the engine block. It will have the model number, serial number, and month and year of manufacture printed on it.

Locate the model and serial numbers on the mounting clamp if you can't find or can't read the aluminum plug on the engine block.

re 2015 Suzuki 90 model year

I couldn't see a plate but on the side of the block there are a series of numbers starting with 0214y would that be the year?

IDENTIFICATION NUMBER LOCATION
MODEL PRE-FIX SERIAL NUMBER
On most Suzuki outboards the MODEL, PRE-FIX and SERIAL NUMBER of motor are stamped on a plate attached to the clamp bracket.
ENGINE SERIAL NUMBER
A second engine serial number plate is sometimes pressed into a boss on the cylinder block.

another says: As of the 2011 - Suzuki no longer supports model years.
Be sure you have your model and serial numbers from your ID Tag before looking up parts.

The manufacturer's identification tag is found on the motor mount bracket, usually on the starboard (right) side of the engine. It lists all of the key information. Write down the information on the model designator--including all prefixes and suffixes--and show it to your Suzuki Marine dealer. He has a model identification guide that will allow him to translate all those letters and numbers into the exact model of any Suzuki outboard.

Sure looks like the latest model to me...
First # after the " 3F- " indicates year...in my case its "3F - 3" which is a 2013 model i confirmed with Suzuki Canada...

So im confident in saying the serial you provided would be a 2015 model...
You can see the trending serial pattern since 2011..
