Suzuki-a-rude DF70 code 1-3

HI `great forum. just found it.

I have a 2001 Suzuki DF70 ( actually it's an Evinrude version)

It just died in Sept...well sort of died -- I believe the oil pump gave out. it still runs and has good compression but no oil is getting into the motor..but the res in Full - had a marine mech just check it yesterday and he thinks I am right -- but won't know for sure unless I bring it in.. which i am hesitant to put any $$$ into fixing it because it..got 2000-2500 hrs - I am thinking NEW DF90a --

any way

I have 2 questions:

1 - Is there a way to figure out the exact hours with out a hours meter - I think I have some where between 2000-2500 hrs. on it.

2 - the tach/ sensor lights - is flashing a 3-1 code? any ideas?

Well I think I found what the code is and a list of all the codes..

I read it as - 1-3 when I looked again last night - it was actually blinking 3-1

I found a list on another site..
3-1 = IAC Valve Adjustment

get a new tech asap

you will need a good tach to set the iac valve right
