DT8C Model Year?

Just bought a DT8C for my Boston Whaler kicker motor. No manuals or documentation with it. Based on the following serial number, can someone determine the model year please? Also, I would really appreciate any owners manuals, service manuals, etc applicable to this motor...

It looks like it is a 1988 year 2 stroke motor.

Yep, already saw that. It's a numerical list of service manuals, I need an actual service manual...

They show the same cover was used from 1988 to 1993. But your serial number says yours is 1988. The first number stamped on your plate is the year.
