Pulled my lower unit on my 2015 DF 300 electronic shift and the shift rod come out with it. It seems it only goes back in one way but want to make sure there is nothing special I need to do.
My shift rod normally comes out with my lower unit. As long as you don't move the shift linkage or turn the rod, I see nothing special needing to be done.
