  • 1999 DT200 Flywheel Magneto

My magnets let go while I was out on the water. I can't seem to find a used flywheel. I bought a used one on ebay that didn't fit (shame on me for not seeing the underside). I took the description for granted.

I would like to be able to find the right used one or somehow be able to epoxy new magnets in place.

    Any thoughts? Please help.

Wouldn't even attempt putting magnets in. Look up your flywheel pay number, then Google that and add Suzuki outboard flywheel.
Also, when you look up the part number online, click the number, it will show you a list of the different motors and years that flywheel was used on. You should get a few hits. They should have pics, and if used, they may guarantee it came off a running motor.

Have you inspected the magneto for any signs it may have been damaged? When my magnets came loose they ate one of my coils, and needless to say I had to get a magneto also.

    Good luck.
