    been down today and checked the other engine which were identical 4 .67 volts any ideas greatlt received cheers

      Are you checking the voltage with the plug disconnected and checking the open circuit voltage, if so check the voltage with the plug connected and key on. I went back through some notes and with a temp sensor with 6.5k ohms will produce a signal voltage of 3.5 volts and that will be for a temp of 0 degree's C or 32 deg f. You use the ohm meter to check the resistance of the sensor with the plug disconnected.

        hi there , have managed to check voltage on senders whilst connected and the readings are 3.09 for exhaust and 3.11 for the cyl temp does this sound ok cheers

            Those voltage readings look a bit better, check the IAT temp sensor as well in the air box, should be similar to those.
