Got the steel plug out of my 2005 DF 140, that causes the galvanic corrosion issue. Had to clean up a few of the Aluminum threads after removing the plug. Now ready to install the replacement plug I bought on eBay, what do I put on the threads to help seal them? I was thinking red locktight but with the heat in that area, not sure if that is going to work. Any suggestion on what to put on the threads of the new plug to help seal and keep the plug in place?
