I just bought a new DF9.9A and it is leaking a pint of oil in one hour of running.
It continues to leak oil sitting on the dock high and dry. Has anyone encountered this before? The oil is coming from inside the cowl and not from the drain plug or fill or dispstick. I know it is covered by warranty but I want to understand the problem and if it is a simple fix just do it rather than going through dismounting and taking to the dealer which is a lot of work for me.
The engine runs fine.
